The Time Has Come, CTIA 2009 Is Upon Us

Well for me being the phone junkie addict that I am this is my favorite time of the year. CTIA Wireless convention which is held in Las Vegas, NV at the Las Vegas Convention Center April 1-3 is the premier wireless convention in the U.S..

So what am I expecting this year? Well I think Palm is going to have to make some noise if the want to even attempt to run with Apple. The closer they get to June the worse it will be for them in my oppinion. I think there will be some interesting things coming from ZER01 with there VOIP style unlimited access mobile service, which could really shake things up. Windows Mobile 6.5 will be all over the place and I expect HTC with the Touch Pro 2 and Touch Diamond 2 to really push there version of WinMo 6.5.

All in all I think there will be some really big news this year. Don’t ask me why but I think Apple has put the fire under a lot of companies and as an end user I am glad to see it. So stay tuned as I keep you up to date on all the news coming out of Vegas .

On a side note, if you have MetroPCS or have thought about signing up for there service you really should look at the new Samsung Finesse for $349.00. Sounds expensive but if you think about it, it’s not that bad because of the fact you own it fee and clear with no contract and it comes with free activation and first month of service free.
